Homemade granola with nuts and cacao
  • 100 g cashews

  • 100 g brazil nuts

  • 150g almonds

  • 100 g hazelnuts

  • 2-3 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tsp bourbon vanilla

  • 4 tbsp cocoa nibs

  • 60 g raw cocoa

  • 100 g coconut oil, liquid

  • 3 tbsp honey

Making Granola yourself is super easy, and you can choose exactly the ingredients you like. This is how you create your very own Granola. My favorite at the moment is this chocolaty-nutty version :)

  1. Chop all the nuts with a large knife. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Then add coconut oil (heat it up in case it's solid) and honey.

  3. Now distribute the mixture on 1-2 baking trays and bake for 20-30 minutes at 170°. After the first 10 minutes, turn it over so that nothing burns.

  4. Allow to cool well (preferably 24 hours) and then fill into airtight glasses.

Tastes great with yoghurt, oat milk and freshly cut fruits. 

A few more alternative ideas:

  • Coconut chips / coconut flakes

  • Pecans (very delicious)

  • Flakes of any kind (oats, quinoa, amaranth...)

  • Chia seeds

  • Maca powder

  • Dried fruits (add only after baking)

  • Ghee can be used instead of coconut oil
