Chakras and Food

Everything is energy

Energy forms the basis for everything on our planet. Our body needs this energy in the form of food and oxygen. Each food has a different vibration (flow, energy), and we can use this knowledge to balance our chakras through food. Our physical body can influence the chakras, and conversely the chakras can influence the physical body; ideally both work together in harmony. As a result, our food can directly effect the chakras. For example, certain desires and preferred foods can also indicate the status of health of the various chakras.

The link of different foods to individual chakras is on one hand based on the different colours (colours are energy vibrations), and on the other hand based on additional criteria such as the link to the elements. Of course in nature there are many different shades of foods, which is why some foods may overlap. The message is simple: "Eat the rainbow", i.e. eat food that is as colourful as possible. This not only keeps the body healthy, but also balances the chakras, so you feel balanced and full of energy.

The following table gives an overview of the different chakras and the foods linked to them.

The first four chakras form the physical dimension, while the upper three chakras are assigned to the spiritual abilities. Accordingly, there are mainly recipes provided for the first four chakras. No food is assigned to the crown chakra, which forms the spiritual center.
